Brand new Indie Jangle Rock & Folkie Power Pop songs and tunes, influenced by guitar based rock and pop bands and hits from the last 50 years particularly The Beatles and late 70’s and early 80’s New Wave bands such as The Cars, XTC, The Waterboys and the like. Once described by Adrian Deevoy of Q magazine as the “Perfect antidote to sophistication” I am now using quite a lot of cello, violin and orchestration so this probably only rings true for some of my songs.
