“This is a story of a love betrayed”

This is the first song I recorded for this collection. I Lie Bleeding is my answer to I Will Survive. It relies on a simple melody and solid beat to drive along this story of fighting back and coming out stronger at the other side.

The actual recording was made from a demo I messed around with in GarageBand on my iPad. This was then finished off in my home studio and went on general release on Spotify, iTunes etc.

The recording on this collection is a re-working of that recording. I played a different drum track and thinned out the guitar lines. It was then remastered. This is only available on the collection.
